Baked Chicken

Ingredients:

4 chicken quarters

Pan spray

Foil

1 tablespoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon onion powder

1 tablespoon paprika

1 teaspoon pepper

1 teaspoon kosher salt

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Pat the chicken quarters dry with a paper towel. Line a large baking dish with foil. Spray the foil to prevent sticking. Place chicken in dish, skin side up. Spray the chicken. Sprinkle the chicken with seasonings. Cook chicken for 45 minutes or the internal temperature is 165 degrees. If the skin needs to be a little crispier, turn the oven to 450 degrees and cook for 5 more minutes. Make sure not to burn the skin. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes.

Variations:

Use chicken thighs or legs, adjust the time with internal temperature at 165 degrees

Use a plastic bag with all the seasonings in it. Add the chicken to coat before adding to dish

Sprinkle the chicken with brown sugar for more caramelization
